Heather Augustyniak, DNP, APRN-C, spent nearly a decade caring for patients with cancer as a lead oncology survivorship provider at Northwestern Medicine in Chicago, Illinois. She returned to her hometown Jacksonville, Florida in 2020 and joined the Baptist MD Anderson Cancer Center as the Lead Survivorship Advanced Practice Provider. She has developed, implemented, and oversees the L.I.F.E. Survivorship Program which provides comprehensive expert medical, psychosocial, and educational services to cancer survivors. She also led the development of an Oncology Women’s Sexual Health Clinic and the restructuring of the High-Risk Breast Screening and Prevention Clinic. Her areas of expertise include:
