About Me
I was born and raised in Jacksonville, and moved back to Florida with my husband to raise our kids and be close to my parents. We love the beach, swimming and surfing the waves, kayaking and hiking the trails.
Working as a breast surgeon is a blessing, and advocating for women is my calling. Drawing on my own personal experience, I learned that breast cancer doesn’t just affect the woman, but causes a ripple effect through her whole family. By using hidden scars, I strive to maintain the breast shape and contour while allowing adequate removal of the tumor.
Volunteering and fundraising has been a source of rejuvenation and inspiration to me. I donate to and participate with American Cancer Society Strides against Breast Cancer, and the Sisters Network of Northeast Florida.
