About Me
I have lived in Jacksonville for more than a decade, and enjoy spending time with my husband, parents and 11-year-old son. Oncology has complemented my passions of painting, singing, and writing. Proceeds from my two self-published novels, “The Lost Pearl” and “Torn Pages,” go to underprivileged cancer patients around the world.
I recognized early in my medical career that treating breast cancer patients was my calling and I feel blessed to be able to follow this professional path. Oncology is both complex and dynamic, and we are in an age of accelerated research and its clinical application, and focusing on one cancer type allows me to acquire the expertise needed for excellence in patient care.
I’ve been an active participant and fundraiser for the annual Making Strides for Breast Cancer Walk in Jacksonville and have helped organize local breast cancer health fairs.
